Happy Father's Day!

Dear Ed,
You are one of the kindest most thoughtful persons I know! I am so happy to be able to spend my life with you! I appreciate you for who you are and for all the things you do for me. My life would not be as wonderful as it is without you in my life. I think you are a great husband and a fantastic FATHER!!!
Happy Father's Day to you!!!

Daddy, I love when you give me kisses and I love how you give me hugs! I love how you get me dressed and I love how you give me a bath. I like how you take me on a bike ride.
Love, Sydney

Daddy, I like how you take me for bike rides. I like how you tuck me in at night. I love how you take me to Dairy Queen.

Dad, I love you so much! I love when you take our family out to get milkshakes or ice cream at Dairy Queen. It's very fun when we go on our family bike rides at night. I love when we throw the football in the back yard. You do the best things for our family! You are the # 1 DAD!!!! Happy Father's Day!

Gingerbread Houses 2010

My girls love it every year when the day finally comes that we pull out the Christmas candy and the graham crackers and make their gingerbread houses!!! We usually put each girls house on their own special tray so they can create whatever scene they want.
Always make sure you put the house together one day early because it needs to be dry and strong for the candies!
Have fun and go all out! Use whatever candy you may have leftover from Halloween. Skittles and gumballs work nice. Licorice and tootsie rolls. M &M's and even candy your hubby brought you from Europe!!!

Let the kids create their own scene. Don't worry about how perfect you may think it needs to be. It is their creation and everything your darling creates is adorable right?!!!!
