Christmas in Liberty Lake 2010

I love to decorate!!! I thought I would just share a few photos of my house for Christmas! Let me know what you think! This is my entry table...... I made the wreath out of coffee filters!!! I learned how to do it on another blog that I follow called The Nesting Place. Isn't it awesome?!!!!
This is on my coffee table...

My fireplace...

The main floor bathroom...

The office...

The kitchen table...

Another photo of the office...I got this adorable Snowman plate from my Aunt Betty a couple months ago! I love it!!!

The basement...

Here is a photo of our new canvas pictures of the girls. A few of you have asked me for a picture! Here you go!!!

Gingerbread Houses 2010

My girls love it every year when the day finally comes that we pull out the Christmas candy and the graham crackers and make their gingerbread houses!!! We usually put each girls house on their own special tray so they can create whatever scene they want.
Always make sure you put the house together one day early because it needs to be dry and strong for the candies!
Have fun and go all out! Use whatever candy you may have leftover from Halloween. Skittles and gumballs work nice. Licorice and tootsie rolls. M &M's and even candy your hubby brought you from Europe!!!

Let the kids create their own scene. Don't worry about how perfect you may think it needs to be. It is their creation and everything your darling creates is adorable right?!!!!

Spokane Hoopfest

We have had a weekend full of basketball!!!

Hoopfest has grown to become the largest 3-on-3 street basketball tournament and family festival of its kind in the world. Annual participation in Hoopfest exceeds 6,700 teams and 26,000 players. With players coming in from 42 states including Hawaii, Georgia, and Kansas, it now takes over 428 courts to house the 14,000 games. It is believed that the second largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the country has no more than 1,500 participating teams.

We had a fantastic day watching many of the teams play!
The weather was perfect and the experience was great!

And to top it off, Samantha's BEST FRIEND Cameron was in town to watch!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Secret Places

One of our favorite places to visit with the family is a little beach near my folks house called
WARM BEACH.
It is our secret little spot!

We collect rocks!

We play in the little creek nearby!

We cuddle while watching the girls!

We dig!
Oh yea, and if you live in the Pacific Northwest, you do all these things in the rain!

How about you? Do you have a family favorite or secret place you like to visit?
We would love to hear about it!
